Congratulations! This is the first step towards fostering a retired racing greyhound or galgo español from Camp Greyhound's Adoption Program.

Please answer the following questions in as much detail as possible. Please do not leave any fields blank, and if any do not apply to you, please enter 'N/A'. Our goal is to assist you in becoming a great foster home, so both you and your foster hound enjoy the experience.

We will review your application and get in touch with you as soon as possible. It can take us up to 2 weeks to process an application. Check your spam folder after application submission, just to make sure an important email from us did not go in there.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Additional Questions
You will be asked to agree to the following terms prior to fostering greyhounds/galgos for CGAP. Do you agree to abide by them? *
a. I agree to keep my foster dog on a leash whenever it is outdoors, unless it is in a completely enclosed fenced in area. b. I understand that I must allow my foster dog to relieve itself at least 4 times a day. c. I agree to keep the CGAP collar on my foster dog at all times and to notify CGAP immediately if my foster dog is lost or stolen. d. I agree to keep my foster dog inside my home, as greyhounds and galgos are indoor pets who have difficulty regulating body heat and cannot be left unattended outdoors. e. I agree to ALWAYS muzzle my foster dog when in a PRIVATE off-leash area (e.g., my fully and securely fenced backyard) with other greyhounds. f. I agree to NEVER take my foster dog to a public off-leash area or park or any greyhound off-leash run. The ONLY exception to this rule are the pasture runs at Camp Greyhound. g. I agree to NEVER tie or chain my foster dog outside. Due to their speed, they can easily run and break their necks if chained or tied to neck collars and break ribs if tied to chest harnesses. h. I will always provide humane care, and ensure my foster dog is in good health. I will check with CGAP prior to taking my foster dog to the vet. CGAP must approve any expenditures for veterinary care. i. I will not hold CGAP or its staff or volunteers responsible for any damages or injuries which my foster dog may do at any time, including myself and any other parties that may meet my foster dog. j. I will accept future liability with respect to my foster dog and will indemnify and hold harmless CGAP for any damages or injuries caused by my foster dog.
